Overview

MAMAF runs this store to sell clothing and objects made in Istanbul. The store is supported by Shopify. These terms, together with the policies they link to, set out your rights and obligations when you use the site or buy from it. By using the site or placing an order, you accept them.

1. Access and account

By accepting these terms you confirm that you are of legal age in the place where you live. Give us accurate, current and complete information when you order or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure, and you cannot transfer it to anyone else.

2. Our products

We describe and photograph every piece as carefully as we can. Colours and finishes can still look different on your screen, and garments are made in small runs, so slight variations between pieces are part of how they are made, not a defect. We can change descriptions, remove products or limit quantities at any time.

3. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it. The contract forms when we send you the order confirmation email. Drops are limited: adding something to your cart does not reserve it, and stock is only confirmed at checkout. If a piece sells out between your order and our packing table, we cancel that line and refund it in full.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in Turkish Lira and include VAT. Prices, discounts and promotions can change at any time; the price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. If an item is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a technical error, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than ship at that price. Payment is handled by our payment provider, and we never see or store your full card details. Your order is prepared once payment is approved.

5. Shipping and delivery

Delivery times on our Shipping policy are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or by events outside our control. Nothing here limits your statutory rights if an order never arrives or arrives damaged.

6. Cancellation and returns

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Turkish consumer law, and return shipping within Türkiye is on us. How it works is set out in our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Intellectual property

The MAMAF name, logo, prints, graphics, photography, copy and the design of this site belong to us. Wear the clothes wherever you like, but do not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit the designs, artwork or site content without our written permission.

8. Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully. Do not use it to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, harass anyone, send unsolicited marketing, impersonate someone, upload malicious code, scrape content or personal data, or interfere with the site's security or availability. We can suspend or close accounts that do.

9. Third-party tools and links

The site uses third-party tools and links to third-party sites, including our social accounts. They are provided as they are, we do not control them, and we are not responsible for their content or their policies. Use them at your own risk.

10. Relationship with Shopify

Shopify supports this store, but every sale is made directly with MAMAF. Shopify is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your purchase.

11. Privacy

Personal information you give us is handled as described in our Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions or content, you allow us to use them without obligation, payment or confidentiality. Please only send us things you are free to share.

13. Errors and omissions

The site may occasionally contain errors in descriptions, prices, promotions, delivery charges or stock status. We may correct them and cancel affected orders, including orders already placed, and refund you in full.

14. Liability

We are responsible for delivering what you ordered, in the condition described. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Termination

We may end your access to the site if you breach these terms. The sections on intellectual property, liability and governing law survive after that.

16. Governing law and disputes

Turkish law applies. If something goes wrong, email us first. Most things are solved that way. You may also apply to the District or Provincial Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or to the Consumer Court where you live, within the monetary limits announced each year by the Ministry of Trade.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the shop grows, by publishing the new version here. The version published when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
